For Singaporean travellers, a Lapland tour from Singapore is the ultimate bucket-list winter experience. Finnish Lapland offers everything that's simply impossible to find in Southeast Asia — snow-blanketed forests, reindeer herding, the eerie beauty of the Northern Lights, and nights spent sleeping beneath the stars in a glass igloo.
LaplandTour.fi specialises in Finland tour packages from Singapore, ensuring transfers and key logistics are private for your group, so every experience feels personal. We've guided over 127 guests from Singapore through Finnish Lapland and understand exactly what matters to Southeast Asian travellers — English-speaking guides, detailed pre-trip briefings, and seamless logistics from Changi to Rovaniemi.
Our Finland tour packages from Singapore are built around the Schengen visa-free access that Singapore passport holders enjoy, the Singapore Airlines route to Helsinki, and the December school holiday window that works best for Singapore families and couples.
Unlike large group coaches or DIY Finland trips, our Lapland packages from Singapore offer the flexibility of a private tour at a fraction of the cost. You travel with your own group and have a dedicated English-speaking guide throughout. Transfers are private; some activity groups may vary by experience.
Every package combines time in Rovaniemi (Santa's hometown, the Northern Lights capital) with nights in Saariselkä, where darker skies dramatically improve your chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis.
We provide all specialist Arctic gear — thermal overalls, boots, gloves and hats — so you arrive from Singapore in your normal clothes and step straight into the Arctic adventure.
All packages include private transfers within Lapland for your group, specialist thermal gear, and 24/7 local support. International flights not included.
Our packages combine private transfers and tailored logistics with expertly guided tour experiences — giving you the best of both worlds.

Lapland's winter season runs November to March. Here's how each month aligns with Singapore school holidays and Northern Lights probability.
Over 127 guests from Singapore have experienced Lapland with us. Here's what they said.
"Booked the 6D/5N package from Singapore for my family of four. The logistics were flawless — from Changi to the igloo in Saariselkä, everything was arranged. Seeing the Northern Lights on night two was absolutely surreal. Worth every cent of the S$4,800."
"We were worried about the cold coming from Singapore, but the gear they provided was incredible — we were completely warm the whole trip. The husky safari was a highlight. The private transfers were seamless and our guide was excellent throughout."
"As Singaporeans we had no idea what to expect from a Finland tour. LaplandTour handled everything — they even told us exactly which SIA flight to book and what time to arrive. The glass igloo night was once-in-a-lifetime. Already planning to come back in February."
Everything Singapore travellers ask before booking their Lapland holiday
No visa is required. Singapore passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Finland and the entire Schengen Area for up to 90 days per 180-day period. You only need a valid Singapore passport (minimum 6 months validity from your return date), proof of accommodation, and a return ticket. No visa application, no embassy visits.
The standard route is Singapore Changi (SIN) → Helsinki Vantaa (HEL) with Singapore Airlines or Finnair (approximately 13 hours), then a Helsinki → Rovaniemi (RVN) domestic Finnair flight (1 hour 10 minutes). Total journey time is 15–17 hours including the Helsinki transit. We recommend arriving in Rovaniemi in the early afternoon to settle in before your first evening activity.
December is the most popular for Singapore travellers because it aligns with Singapore's school year-end holidays and offers the full Christmas experience in Rovaniemi (Santa's hometown). January and February offer the highest Northern Lights probability with longer dark periods and clearer skies. All months from November to March offer good snowfall, husky safaris, and Aurora chances.
Our Lapland packages start from approximately S$4,800 per person (€2,700) for a 5-night package. This excludes international flights from Singapore (Singapore Airlines SIN–HEL return is typically S$1,200–S$2,500 depending on class and booking window). The total trip budget including flights is typically S$6,500–S$9,000 per person. All packages include Lapland accommodation, activities, thermal gear, and all transfers within Finland.
Absolutely. Finnish Lapland is one of the world's best family destinations and December in Rovaniemi — Santa's official hometown — is magical for children. Our packages can be configured for families. Husky rides, reindeer sleigh rides, snowmobile experiences (children ride with parents), and the Santa Claus Village are all child-friendly. We provide child-sized thermal gear. Child prices are available on request.
Included in all our Finland packages: hotel accommodation in Rovaniemi, glass igloo night(s) in Saariselkä, Northern Lights hunt with guaranteed rebooking, husky safari, reindeer farm experience, all transfers within Lapland (airport to hotel, inter-city, activity transfers), full thermal gear set (overalls, boots, gloves, hat), dedicated English-speaking guide, and 24/7 on-trip support. Not included: international flights SIN–HEL–RVN, travel insurance, and personal spending.
Yes. All our Lapland packages include a Northern Lights hunt on a designated evening. If the Aurora does not appear due to cloud cover or low activity, we will rebook the hunt on a subsequent night at no extra cost. While we cannot guarantee the Aurora will appear (it is a natural phenomenon), we do everything in our power — including real-time KP-index monitoring and relocating to optimal dark-sky sites — to maximise your chances.
